You can feel your best AT ANY AGE
What is Hormone Therapy (BHRT)?
Many women and men experience hormonal imbalances and never realize it. As the body ages, there may be an imbalance of hormones which is then associated with a variety of uncomfortable symptoms. BHRT is a type of therapy that replenishes low levels of hormones and brings them back to an optimal level and in turn alleviates symptoms.
Symptoms of Low Testosterone:
-
Reduced libido/ sex drive
-
Low energy
-
Decrease in strength and/or endurance
-
Feeling angry, agitated, and/or sad
-
Less enjoyment in life
-
Having trouble sleeping or staying asleep
-
Difficulty concentrating and focusing
-
Difficulty maintaining muscle mass and losing fat mass
Hormone Therapy for Women
A long-term solution for hormonal therapy comes in the form of a bioTE pellet. While other hormone replacement therapies such as the transdermal patch or compounded cream can help alleviate certain menopausal symptoms, neither of these forms last as long as bioTE therapy.
BioTE consists of two essential hormones which are testosterone and estrogen. During menopause, the body may become deficient in testosterone and estrogen which results in many uncomfortable symptoms and can increase one’s risk of osteoporosis, heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and diabetes.
Hormone Therapy for Men
Testosterone pellets are effective at replenishing low levels of testosterone and convenient in that treatment is needed less often. This specific formulation is unique in that treatment is only required every 6 months.
Injectable Testosterone Therapy for Men
Testosterone is injected into the muscle which allows the hormone to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream.
“I never really paid attention, but now I see and feel results. I love the pellets! I cannot thank you enough!”

Frequently Asked Questions
Pellets are derived from a natural plant source compounded with either estrogen or testosterone.
They are compounded into identical hormones we naturally produce within our own body. These implants are the size of rice granules that are placed beneath the skin. The pellets slowly release small doses of the selected hormones. This is the only form of hormone replacement therapy that provides sustained levels throughout each day.
How Are Hormone Pellets Administered?
Pellets are placed under fatty tissues such as the buttock or hip. This procedure is easily done in the office and takes no more than 30 minutes to administer.
What Are Pellet Therapy Side Effects?
In comparison to other forms of hormone replacement therapy, pellet therapy causes minimal side effects. Possible side effects may include mild facial hair growth and acne which can easily be treated.
How Often Will I Need Treatment?
BioTE therapy: For women, treatment is recommended every 3 to 6 months. For men, treatment is recommended every 6 to 12 months.
Injectable Therapy: For men, treatment is recommended every 2 weeks.
